Acoustic Solutions

DURRA Acoustic Wall

The DURRA Acoustic wall is an innovative alternative to the expensive multi-layered mass systems for noise control. One layer of DURRA Acoustic Panel can reduce the breakout noise from buildings while reducing internal reverberation at the same time.

Our manufacturing philosophy is to provide acoustic roof / ceiling and wall systems that can be configured to meet performance specification requirements for a diverse range of commercial, industrial and residential projects. DURRA Acoustic Panel can also be provided with a range of factory applied laminates that will alter the panel mass and stiffness as required for more specialized acoustic applications.

DURRA Acoustic Wall Systems have a proven track record, being used in landmark projects throughout Sri Lanka and around the world. Some of these include cinemas, auditoriums, studios, airports, arenas, convention centres, power plants, generator rooms, etc. It is a high performance, lightweight system specializing in low frequency noise control combined with a fast and efficient installation method.

DURRA Acoustic Doors

The elements of a door set are often the weakest links in sound transmission from and into the room. Acoustic doors are typically constructed from multiple layers of a variety of materials. The different layers contribute to the attenuation of sound, effectively giving the incident sound waves more barriers to pass. Sealing the gaps around the door is crucial in reducing the amount of sound entering or leaving the room. The DURRA Acoustic Door is designed to control sound to an effective level since total control would not be practical to achieve and depends on the surrounding structure to a greater extent to which the door is fitted.
